By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Utilize advanced training methods effectively.

  • Promote professional activities by integrating scientific, pedagogical, and didactic knowledge.

  • Analyze and implement sports training theories in technical, tactical, and strategic contexts.

  • Identify and classify sports injuries, understand their mechanisms, and apply appropriate prevention strategies.

  • Relate physiological adaptations to training methods and nutritional requirements.

  • Develop sports ethics and manage stress and emotions in competitive environments.

  • Communicate effectively in Portuguese and understand advanced sports-related concepts.

  • Young athletes preparing for advanced sports activities.

  • Face-to-face and practical simulation activities, including individual and group exercises. In-person.

  • The course employs a blend of expositional and active teaching methods, including:

    1. Minimum attendance of 90% of total hours.

    2. A final exam to evaluate knowledge retention, graded on a 0-20 scale. A score of 10 or above is required to pass.
